More Bookmarks

I did some more bookmarks since I really don't know if I like the colors of the first 2. So here are some more. I don't think I like the variegated thread I think I will try some solid colors and see how I like those.

Boredom...

This is what I have been doing during the day to keep myself busy. Making bookmarks. I do read a little too. and do chores but when you do 2 loads of laundry, sweep, dishes, wipe counters and tidy all by 10 am you have to find something else to do. so mostly boredom and bookmarks is what I have been up to since the kids are in school. The tan fan bookmark is my own creation. Yup I made up my own bookmark.

Runner

I finished my runner a couple weeks ago. But just never took a pic or posted it. So here it is all finished.

I even bought plastic for the table and put my runner underneath.... It was that or laminate it?!? I just don't want it to get dirty. And the kids have already spilled juice, spaghetti, Kool-aid, and lots of other stuff on the plastic on the table so I am very glad I bought the plastic and put it under there.

Finally...

I know its been a while (since like April) but here is the latest pic of my table runner. Yes I know I should have had it done by now but I get going and then dont want to finish stuff. ha ha ha just look at my house....anyway here is a pic.
All thats left now is the border strip and I'm done. Whoo Hoo!

Table Runner

So here is my runner today I just finished the center section. I would be doing more but I dont know how to do the border. So this is what I get for now.

Then I started another table runner and this is my first pic I just did this last night. The sunflower is the back so I can use it as a reversible runner.

Church bag

We made basically the same purse but with our own little touches. Like the embroidery at the end and the pockets are a bit different. I really am proud of it. These are bags we made to take to church so all our stuff could be organized and we were not looking for stuff on Sunday morning or Saturday night.

More Doilies

Ok so Monique wants a doily I said I would make her. But now she decided she wants one that is tan and my tan is attached to a piece I haven't finished (gee just one more thing I haven't finished) yet. So I said if you want one in tan I would have to finish this one and she said "OK!"

So now I have to finish one more project for Monique...lol.

Purses

Now Monique and I have been making purses for ourselves they are turning out really nice, the only thing is the handles are pretty big compared to the purse. Since we wanted the handles to go over the shoulder... but anyway they are pretty.

Woo Hoo! I actually have a project to blog about!!!

Ok so I haven't wanted to do anything recently. But Monique came over and wanted to fix so clothes and bed skirts. So I fixed the bed skirts while she fixed the clothes. Then she started the stockings I wanted to finish for Christmas...um 2 months ago....so I am actually doing those now too. If my machine doesn't stop working. It worked fine the entire time I was fixing Monique's stuff. But as soon as I start MY projects it acts up. So I have decided my sewing machine has a mind of its own and only likes to do service for others and not for me....

Presents!!!!

Even though I should be doing something else I decided I am going to make Jacob's teacher a set of doilies for her wedding present. The only thing now is to decide which ones I only have about 200 doily patterns to choose from.

Everyday feels mundane

Alright, I am extremely bored when it comes to my crafting. I should be doing projects I need to finish and yet I don't want to. I want to do something different. But I don't have and thing different to do. I am so frustrated about it. Although I do have to say that since I dont have any crafts I want to do I have been reading scriptures more often I am up to chapter 11 just because I dont have anything else to do. (Monique could come over and play games with me) *hint hint* lol
