Candy cane hat
Okay so I just thought of doing stripes up and down instead of around the hat. So this is what it looks like.
And now that I was talking to Bro Willis I think I want to try to make it really look like a candy cane and get the stripes to rotate. So that is my next project.

Um why does it always take me so long?
Ok so I haven't worked on my quilted wall hanging in about a month. Just because I kinda get bored and the part I have to do is by hand right now. I have to use a decorative stitch to sew the hearts on. but I did one and then looked at it from a far. And none of the stitches were even or parallel. So I had to take it out and do it over. So I get kinda iffy when I think of sewing the rest on. but I think I need to soon so I can have it finished before its been a year. Like with my table runner.
Jason makes me think all the time!
Ok so he has been making hats and making ones I didn't even think of. And so he asks me what I do with them. I tell him, N.I.C.U. and he says don't you think you should make some for the homeless people around town and keep them in your car then you can give them a hat when you see them.
Hmmm... I guess I could do that.
Ya then when you see them the next time, you could see them wearing your hat and know that they are warmer because of you.
Gee now I take the guys to school today and see two homeless guys and think Hmmm... I should have made some because now I feel bad.
SO I am going to make at least two this weekend so I can have them on hand next time!

Baby Hats
Well I finally got my blue loom back from one of the girls that borrowed it in May. I went and got it on Nov. 24 th. And since then I have made 26 baby hats to donate to the N.I.C.U. I did notice recently though that all except 2 were girl colors so I have started to do more boys colors. Then Jason wanted to make some blankets for a co-worker's wife and preemie twins. So I re-taught him how to crochet and he does it great but he thought it was taking too long so ha wanted to learn how to loom. So I taught him and I asked him how he was doing a while later and he said it was "easy, almost too easy." lol. I laughed I thought I have been telling you its easy and I told you I made so many already and you just now believe me. lol but its fun to do it together. He has already made two adult hats and two baby hats. Great job Jason!

Crafts!!
Well I started crocheting while we lived in Missouri. Which was 5 years ago. And since I get bored easily I have tried just about everything, from blankets to doilies and blessings dresses, magnets, cute chilies for my mom, trivets, baby hats. Then I got more bored and tried knitting and didn't like it. So I tried sewing and didn't really like it either. So I didn't really do crafts for a while. Then I tried scrap booking and still didn't really like it. So I started looming and have been doing it for about 2 years.
And again I get bored easily so I have tried a lot of looming projects. Like socks, blankets, scarves, doll hats, changing colors. I recently have been quilting and have made a table runner and am now making a wall hanging.
So anyway this is a update just as to what I've tried.
