Awesome Baby Dress

OK, This dress I LOVE! And a whole lot more than the other dress I made. The other dress took for ever and took more yarn than the pattern called for, plus I didn't even really like it after it was done. So I did a really sad thing I took the WHOLE dress out. 
Yup it was really sad. boo hoo :-P 
Anyway I got a different pattern I saw on Pinterest and started making it. This one said it would only take 3oz but I figured I have 7oz so I should be good if it takes more, right? 
Yup I have a ton left over! 
This dress is so cute and if I want to make it longer I totally can! This ladies dress pattern saved me! I was about to just throw away the other dress and never look back! It just made me sad to look at it...and thinking about taking it out made me sad too. So I figured well if keeping it makes me sad I might as well just throw it out, right? 
WRONG!!!!

Grenades

For my Brother and Two Uncles.

They all wanted a grenade that I didn't know how to crochet and couldn't find a FREE pattern so I tried my best and came up with this...

All I could think of was a cluster stitch to use

and it sucks, I must say.

So I looked again and found THIS SITE.

Which had a wonderful grenade pattern for, yes, FREE!

It wasn't there before I swear!

But anyway here is my grenade.

It took me a long time to figure out her pattern its not very clear. (#3)

But here is what I did after making the pattern 4 times, and taking them out.

I took this one out several times too before it looked like this.

Then I made another one and I think I like mine better than hers that I tried so hard to make.

I used a Puff stitch instead of a popcorn stitch and I think its getting much closer to me liking it! I am still not sure what else to change but I will figure out how to make a good looking one.

I will have more to post I am sure LOL

Let me know what you think of each one or how you think I could make it better.

Baby Dress

This one took a while and I wasn't sure if it would turn out well. I messed up on the first couple of rows, just like on the blanket but I talked myself into fixing it since I didn't have anything else going at the time. Then I got the order for the blanket so I made that and then finished this. Well the pattern said it took 6 oz to make and I had an old ball of 7 oz baby yarn so I was good to go. Only I ran out of yarn and the stores don't sell that color or brand anymore. So I tried the leftover yarn I had from the blanket and it didn't turn out very well at all. I think it looks yucky so I will post a pic but just know I am going to take out the dark color and wait until I figure out what to do.

More Flowers

Just some of the newest flowers I have been trying out.

I just tried out THIS pattern, but with thread and size 7 needle. The Orange one was before I shaped it the others had been shaped. (If you can see the difference)

This one is not my favorite and it didn't even turn out like the pic on the Website I got it from.

This one I love! And I got it from HERE. I also did a longer chain to make a bigger flower.

Some bigger and smaller roses. This is my pattern I posted it HERE.

I love this pattern since its 3D. I get bored with all the flat flowers sometimes.

I like new patterns! Now to find even more!

Stars?!?!?!

These were supposed to be stars but I think they look like flowers or something non-star-like. And the circle in the middle was NOT big enough for all the stitches that had to go in it, so that made it annoying but since I learned the "magic ring thing" I think I will try that next time. Yes Yes I will!
